Okudo Honsu Hanashi Jisu Suita

This stone is hard and fine but has excellent sharpening feel and speed. It does not release slurry, so I recommend a nagur or a diamond plate to speed up the polishing of the knives. A black residue will quickly build up when you work your blade on this stone.

This stone also works well with carpentry tools such as chisels and planes.

Okudo (奥殿)
Eastern mine, famous for its suite. These stones are often referred to as the "King of Suits" and are perhaps the most sought after of the type. They are usually very hard, quite small and fast. Authentic Okudo stones are usually very expensive and rarely available.
