R. Saito was a famous hairdresser in Japan in the 50s-60s. He founded a barber school with a large number of professionals in many towns. As his name was synonymous with the Japanese fashion world, his designs were highly valued, just like his name. He designed razors that were produced by large companies with his name on them: Kikuboshi, Diamond Hayashi and other manufacturers. The product was designed to be the easiest razor to use.
