The V-7000 was launched in 1990 and was the most popular model at the time. There is also the higher-ranking V-8000S, which later appeared in 1991 as a modified and improved V-7000 and became the top model, displacing the 7000 into second place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the V-9000, TEAC completely redesigned the V-9000, so that the new series, of which the V-7000 was the flagship, could be said to have been made from scratch and all subsequent models, such as the V-8000S, the V-7010, the V-8030S, were essentially an upgrade of the V-8000S series.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was produced both for the domestic market and for export, in silver and black. In addition, black was not in demand in Japan and is quite rare there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As befits a quality deca, it has a film calibration function. The calibrator is manual, unlike many of its competitors, the calibration is done for each channel individually according to level and magnetization, which allows for a more precise adjustment of the head to the specific band. The magnetisation is 210 kHz, interestingly the frequency has been reduced to 150 kHz in the next model V-7010.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
