Usage: Perfect for for knives (kitchen, hunting, shearing, etc.) and other tools for sharpening and finishing. The stone generates a good suspension, the lines are safe for knife blades (non-toxic). Suitable for medium sharpening as well as for obtaining a very fine, polished edge.

The stone is glued to a stable, beautifully varnished dark wooden stand, which not only adds to the aesthetics, but also ensures comfortable and stable operation.

Origin: Japanese natural Suita stone from Kyoto Prefecture (probably Shohonyama or similar Suita layer).

Natural Japanese stones are valued for their unique structure and their ability to give knives an exceptionally sharp and long-lasting sharpness that synthetic sharpeners cannot.
