  • Forged and mirror-polished Vanadium 10 powder steel
  • 64 HRC. Hardened by Alan Balikoev, one of the best thermists in Russia. This steel is not available in series because it is difficult to process, and the heat treatment needs to be properly selected, which requires a lot of time, energy, skill and effort. 
  • Blade dimensions: 111×21×3.6 mm
  • Sharpened at 36 degrees
  • Handle Snakewood stabilised wood with mammoth tooth inlay, decorated with a snake skull figure. Length: 117mm
  • Case: Genuine snake and cow leather.
  • Weight 105 g (162 g with case)
  • Extremely long-lasting and shock-resistant knife. It is strongly recommended to use for cutting only, as the feed is not great for rough work.

Discontinued for several years, Uddeholm Vanadium 10 (Sweden) is a vanadium-rich powder tool steel with excellent wear and fracture resistance. The steel is also well machined and polished, which, together with good heat treatment, offers definite advantages to knife makers. This steel can normally be hardened to a hardness of 60-65 HRC.

C (carbon)-2,9% Mo (molybdenum)-1,50% Mn (manganese)-0,50%
Cr (chromium)-8,00% Si (silicon)-0,50% V (vanadium)-9,80%
