Use and maintenance

  • Before use, soak the stone to soak it or sprinkle it several times.
  • When sharpening the blade, sprinkle water on the stone.
  • Use the stone on a flat, stable and non-slip surface.
  • Rinse thoroughly with water after use. Air dry and store away from direct sunlight.
  • Periodically, due to wear or, for example, after a stone has fallen, smooth out the chipped part to prevent damage to the blade during sharpening.
