Some knives show additional inscriptions:

• 特製 - „specially made“
• 登録 - „registered“

In terms of construction, handles, boxes and workmanship, they are mainly Japanese kitchen knives from 1970-1990, new old stock („NOS“), unused.

First 2 knives with anti-corrosion paper protection on the blade:

• very likely carbon steel / carbon steel
• Possibly SK or Shirogami grade plainer Japanese carbon steel
• light oxidation/patina visible

Third knife:

• similar to stainless/stainless steel
• Industrial Japanese kitchen steel

Two larger ones in black boxes and the last one probably Japanese stainless steel or semi-stainless
